As a reminder, this weekend is the Virginia sales tax holiday and a great time to purchase items for back to school. Additionally, we will be hosting our annual Stuff the Bus event at Staples on Plank Road, on Saturday, August 6th from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. School supply donations received at this event directly support our families in need. Can't make it to Staples? You may also drop off supplies at the Community Bank of the Chesapeake at 5831 Plank Road August 1st-6th during business hours or Mount Hope Baptist Church located at 6823 Harrison Road on August 6th 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Thank you for your support!
