At the September 9, 2024, Spotsylvania County School Board meeting, the School Board approved the appointment of Mr. John Florip as Principal at Chancellor Middle School effective September 16, 2024.
Mr. Florip has been a dedicated member of our school community, serving as the Assistant Principal at Chancellor Middle School for the past seven years. His commitment, leadership, and strong relationships with students, families, and staff have been instrumental in fostering the positive culture we all value. Mr. Florip holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Michigan and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Mary Washington. Prior to his tenure as Assistant Principal, Mr. Florip taught for ten years in Spotsylvania.
