Dear SCPS Community,

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Please watch the first of our video series (https://youtu.be/7rf5HpYTezw) highlighting this critical issue to raise awareness about the devastating effects of bullying and to promote kindness, empathy, and respect within our SCPS community.

Bullying can profoundly impact the lives of those affected, causing emotional, psychological, and even physical harm. It affects individuals of all ages, and we must stand up against it.

During Bullying Prevention Month and always, we encourage everyone to:

1. Educate: Take the time to learn about the signs of bullying, its consequences, and practical strategies to prevent and address it.

2. Communicate: Discuss bullying with friends, family, and peers.

3. Support: If you or someone you know is experiencing bullying, realize you are not alone. Contact a trusted adult, teacher, or counselor for help and support.

4. Promote Kindness: It is a powerful antidote to bullying.

5. Report: If you witness or experience bullying, report it because it may prevent further harm.

At SCPS, we can make a positive change in our community. Let’s work towards a future where everyone can thrive in a safe and respectful environment.

Thank you for your commitment to making SCPS a place of understanding and compassion.

Together, we are Spotsy.
