Allen Hicks Appointed as Executive Director of Secondary Schools and Leadership at Spotsylvania County Public Schools
Spotsylvania County Public Schools is delighted to announce that Mr. Allen Hicks will join the division as the Executive Director of Secondary Schools and Leadership. He comes to us with a wealth of experience and a passion for education, and we are thrilled to have him as part of our team.
Mr. Hicks, a seasoned high school principal in Stafford County with over nine years of experience in educational leadership, excels in instruction, strategic planning, and professional development. His collaborative approach and commitment to capacity-building make him a valuable addition to SCPS. He has a track record of fostering a climate of excellence and is eager to bring his expertise to our school community.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater College and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is working to obtain his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Old Dominion University, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
