CHANCELLOR HIGH SCHOOL
Indoor Track: Region Champion
Senior Paris Johnson – Paris was a top runner all season in the Battlefield District and ended the season winning the Region Championship in the 55 meter at the Region 4B Indoor Track championship.
We also want to thank our Track Coaches are Dionne Cheeks and Connor Adkins.
Swimming: State and Region Champion
Junior Kyle Peck – Kyle is the VHSL class 4 boy’s 100 yard backstroke champion for the second time. He set a new Class 4 record in this race and is the VHSL all-time (across all classes of VHSL) record holder in this race. Kyle was undefeated throughout this regular high school season and was the Battlefield District Champion in the boy’s 100 yard butterfly and 100 yard backstroke as well as the VHSL Region 4B champion in the boy’s 50 yard free and 200 yard individual medley. Kyle is a junior and hopes next year to be a 3-peat State Champion. He is committed to attend and swim for the University of Texas.
We also want to thank our Swim Coaches are Jordan Shearer and Danielle Anderson.
Forensics
At the State Class 4 Forensics event....
Daniel Kilmartin and Emily Kilmartin took 4th Place in the Humorous Duo category
and Ava Sherwood and William Whitehurst took 4th Place in the Serious Duo category.

Wrestling program won the 2022-2023 Region 4B Championship and finished fourth in the Class 4 State Championships.
Seth Ayo at 120 lbs finished 2nd in the Region and 4th in the state.
Luke Wahlquist finished 3rd in Region 4B at 138 lbs.
Liam Wahlquist finished 5th in the Region at 150 lbs.
Kyle Csikari, 157 lbs won the Region 4B title and finished 3rd in the State.
Zach Gallimore at 165 lbs finished 2nd in Region 4B and 5th at states.
190 pounder, Mason Christopher won the Region 4B crown and finished 3rd in the state.
Antonio Harris, 285 lbs finished 4th in Region 4B and 4th at the state championships.
David Reck was Region 4B Coach of the Year and the Free Lance Star's All-Area, Co-Coach of the Year.
