Local Resources:
Provides immigration legal assistance, social services, and advocacy for immigrant rights. Services include help with adjustment of status, family-based petitions, and naturalization.
Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington – Fredericksburg Office -
Offers mental health counseling, migration and refugee services, and immigration legal assistance. They also provide naturalization assistance, citizenship classes, and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.
Provides free legal services to low-income individuals, including assistance with immigration-related legal matters.
Virginia Department of Social Services – Refugee Resettlement Program -
Supports refugees with social integration and economic empowerment, offering services such as employment assistance, health services, education, and youth mentoring.
Rappahannock Area Health District – Refugee Services -
Provides health assessments for newly arrived refugees, including tuberculosis screening, health history evaluations, and referrals to other health, mental health, or social services.
Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area (LSS/NCA) – Woodbridge Office -
Offers immigration legal assistance to individuals and families, including help with citizenship applications and other immigration-related legal services.
