Out-of-County Tuition Free Requests

School Board Policy GCBEC, “Tuition-Free Attendance for Children of Out of District Employees,” states:

“Any non-county resident who is a full-time employee wishing to enroll a dependent child in a Spotsylvania County School on a tuition-waived basis must serve as the legal guardian. Approval will be based on the availability of space, grade level capacities, and/or program/curriculum offerings. Student’s lack of academic progress, attendance/tardiness, lack of parental supervision before/after school, and/or flagrant disregard or serious infractions of the rules defined in the Code of Conduct may warrant denial of entry or withdrawal of enrollment approval.”
