MHS Theatre Costume Ball
This year's Costume Ball is October 19th from 2:30pm to 5:00 pm in Commons A. Prizes will be given for best solo costume, best group costume, most creative, and best use of props. Tickets are available on Ticket Spicket. This event is sponsored by your Thespian Honor Society, proceeds benefit the MHS Theatre Department.
UMW Dean of Admissions will be at MHS on Wed, 10/19, for an Information Session.
Any students interested in attending, can sign up with Ms. Thomas Herring in the counseling office.
The Field Hockey team will host a Commonwealth District Quarterfinal game vs. Mountain View on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 6pm. Come out to support... Go 'PONAX!
Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball Team for completing the Regular season as the Commonwealth District Co-Champions with an 11-1 record. They will go into the district tournament as the #1 seed and host a semi-final match on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 6pm. Come on out to support the Lady Panthers! Go 'PONAX!
HER Club is conducting a supply drive to support Empowerhouse women's shelter in honor of domestic violence awareness month. Please drop off: paper products, diapers, cleaning supplies, towels, nonperishable food, journals, flashlights with batteries, toiletries, feminine care projects, small toys, coloring books, or activities for children, and all sizes of -underwear, socks, sweatpants, t-shirts, pajamas, etc. See a HER club member or Mrs. Herrin in Room 146 to donate.
Wear purple on October 20th to show your support for Spirit Day and take the pledge against LGBT bullying
On October 10, 2022, the School Board voted to extend Fall Break to include Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22. This means students and staff will have the entire week of November 21-25 off, and will return to class on Monday, November 28.
Because of the added Student/Teacher holiday, this means that the number of Inclement Weather Days will be reduced by two. Days 1-7 will not be made up.

Massaponax Marching Panther Pride Chipotle Fundraiser

The Panthers Varsity Volleyball team will host a jamboree on Saturday from 9 AM until about 2 PM. Come out to see these hard working girls play against some of the top teams from the state including Atlee, Forest Park and Courtland.
