Monday, August 11, 2025, is Transition Day for our 9th graders! Freshmen will follow their class schedule throughout the day, receive their Chromebook, and get to know their teachers and classmates.

Massaponax Senior High School Graduation!
Saturday, May 17th, at 8 am.
Parking opens at 6:30 am, and you must have an MHS Graduation Parking Tag to park in the MHS lot (a handicapped tag does not gain entry)!
Parking for non-tagged cars will be at Thornburg Middle School and the School Board office across the street. Shuttles from those locations start running at 6:30.
Every guest (babies included) must have a Graduation Ticket to gain entry to the stadium for the ceremony.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Spotsylvania County Public Schools will have a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. This delay will provide time for our staff to have supports in place to assist students and staff who may have been impacted by the incident that took place yesterday in our community. Massaponax Senior Awards Ceremony is scheduled for May 13th at 8:30 am in the auditorium. Students MUST arrive by 7:45 and report straight to the gymnasium. All seniors are invited to attend, however, only seniors who will be recognized at the awards ceremony will receive a postcard in the mail. Seniors are required to wear their graduation gown (no cap or stole).
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Friday, January 10, 2025, will be a Teacher Work Day for Spotsylvania County Public County Schools. No students report to school. All student after school activities have been cancelled.
