IMPORTANT NOTICE: Spotsylvania County Public Schools will have a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. This delay will provide time for our staff to have supports in place to assist students and staff who may have been impacted by the incident that took place yesterday in our community. IMPORTANT UPDATE: Friday, January 10, 2025, will be a Teacher Work Day for Spotsylvania County Public County Schools. No students report to school. All student after school activities have been cancelled.
Due to icy road conditions in rural areas and many neighborhoods, all Spotsylvania County Public Schools are closed on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Code 2 - 12-month employees report two-hours late as safety permits. Essential personnel will report at specified times. All school sponsored activities including student externships are cancelled. The Division Spelling Bee has been moved to January 18, 2025.
