Sports Physical Forms must be handed in (paper copy) to either Coach Meek or Ms. Colleen in the NRMS Front Office. DIgital copies sent via email will not be accepted.
All athletes must also complete the Student-Athlete Health, Safety, Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion Training also found on the NRMS Athletic webpage.

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT INCLEMENT WEATHER NOTICE FOR MARCH 16, 2026
Due to the anticipated inclement weather, Spotsylvania County Public Schools will be closed with asynchronous remote learning for students on Monday, March 16, 2026. 12-month employees report on time. All school and non-school activities, day and evening, are canceled.
FOOD DISTRIBUTION
SCPS will be providing meal bags at Chancellor High School from 10 a.m. to Noon on Monday, March 16th. All SCPS Students are eligible to receive one meal bag. It is not necessary for your child to be with you at the food distribution site; however, you will need to know your child's student ID or lunch number to pick up the meal bag.
UPDATE: IMPORTANT 2025-2026 INSTRUCTIONAL CALENDAR CHANGE
At the School Board Meeting on March 9, 2026, the School Board voted to add April 21, 2026, as a Teacher Work Day/Student Holiday due to the special election announcement on March 2, 2026. As a reminder, many of our schools are used as polling sites. The School Board made no other changes to the 2025-2026 Instructional Calendar. Friday, March 13, 2026, remains a Teacher Professional Learning Day/Student Holiday and the grading period remains unchanged.
Send a sweet treat to brighten someone’s day. Candy Grams will be on sale in the Front Lobby every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday beginning February 23 through March 18. Cash only.
Cost: $2 each or 6 for $10.
Candy Grams will be delivered before Spring Break.
Tickets are $10 cash and must be purchased in advance. They will not be sold at the door.
The student and staff performance will take place on Thursday, February 26, immediately after school. Students must return a signed permission slip before purchasing a ticket. Permission slips are available from Ms. Irby in the chorus room.
Students who plan to attend the Friday evening or Saturday afternoon performances must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
