NRMS is so excited for our Veterans' Day celebration on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM. This event will recognize the service and sacrifice of our veterans and their families, acknowledging the important role that family members play in supporting those who serve. All Falcons are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to help us celebrate this event and Veterans are encouraged to come! Girls Volleyball tryouts begin on Monday, October 20 from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM. In order to tryout, players must have an up to date sports physical on file with the school and have completed the Student-Athlete Health, Safety, Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion Training found on the Ni River Middle School Athletics page. Girls Soccer practice has been canceled today, September 16, due to inclement weather. Please take your regular route home at dismissal.

Tryouts for both Girls Basketball and Girls Soccer will be held on the first day of school, August 12, 2025.

To ensure your student is ready to participate, please remember that all physical forms and the online cardiac training must be completed by Tuesday, August 12, 2025. You can find the links to both of these crucial requirements conveniently located on the Ni River website under our athletics tab.

• As of July 1 2025, this form will replace the existing VHSL physical form. All physicals will be good for 14 months from the date of the last physical exam.
