SCPS Health Services department has formed a partnership with the Rappahannock Area Health Department to provide an opportunity for families to obtain required immunizations for their students going into 12th grade in the 2023-2024 school year.
Immunizations are administered by health department nurses and will be held during the school day from 8:30am-2pm at Chancellor High March 27th & 28th.
A signed consent form is required - students may pick up that form from their teacher.

GRADUATION INFORMATION -- All 2023 high school graduations will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 8:00 a.m.

This is an inclement weather update. All Spotsylvania County Public Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, December 15. Schools will open two hours late. 12-month employees and essential employees are to report to work on time as safety permits. All other employees will report two hours late.

It's winter spirit week at Chancellor! Ugly sweater Wednesday, Holiday movie character Thursday, and Dress for success Friday. Lots of Chargers enjoying spirit week and having fun dressing up - teachers as well as students.

Please congratulate Diego on this well-earned recognition by the Charger Faculty and Staff.

Twenty-five of our Choral Chargers and one alternate were selected for District Chorus on Saturday at Stafford High School! We also had 4 students who placed in the top 3 in their section.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the fall one act play, Where Words Once Were! Chancellor placed First at Region 4B North. Chancellor Theatre won first place and they received a Superior rating from all 4 judges. Daniel Kilmartin won Best Performer at the Festival. Ava Sherwood and Brittany Montgomery won Honorable Mention for Best Performance.

Our field hockey team finished second in the region and qualified for the state tournament! Our Lady Chargers will travel to Loudoun Valley High School on Tuesday for first round competition. GO Chargers!

Our Field Hockey Team defeated Western Albemarle last night in the regional semi-finals and will travel to Courtland for the regional championship Thursday night at 6:00. Go Chargers!

On October 10, 2022, the School Board voted to extend Fall Break to include Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22. This means students and staff will have the entire week of November 21-25 off, and will return to class on Monday, November 28.
Because of the added Student/Teacher holiday, this means that the number of Inclement Weather Days will be reduced by two. Days 1-7 will not be made up.

In competition Saturday, the Chancellor Lightning Regiment Marching Band earned 1st place honors in class AAA, 1st place Marching, 1st place Drum Majors, 2nd place Music, 2nd place Percussion, and Fan Favorite. Congratulations!

This Sunday, at Reclaim Arcade from 3-9 pm, our PTO hopes to see you at Spirit Night for Chancellor High School! Grab a flier from the office or show the flier from our PTO Instagram account and for $15 join us for unlimited retro video games!
