BRES is kicking off Random Acts of Kindness Week by wearing GREEN for GRATITUDE and saying, "Thank You," to 3 people on Monday, February 13.

This is an inclement weather update. All Spotsylvania County Public Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, December 15. Schools will open two hours late. 12-month employees and essential employees are to report to work on time as safety permits. All other employees will report two hours late.

Congratulations to Brock Road ES, Lee Hill ES, and Wilderness ES for earning Virginia Purple Star Awards for the 2022-2023 school year! These schools join Spotswood ES, which currently holds a Purple Star designation. This is the second time Wilderness ES has earned this distinction.
BRES students celebrated our veterans this morning and learned about the branches of our military.

On October 10, 2022, the School Board voted to extend Fall Break to include Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22. This means students and staff will have the entire week of November 21-25 off, and will return to class on Monday, November 28.
Because of the added Student/Teacher holiday, this means that the number of Inclement Weather Days will be reduced by two. Days 1-7 will not be made up.
We can't wait to celebrate 30 years of learning at Brock Road on Thursday, October 6th at BROCKtoberfest! The 90s-themed celebration kicks off at 6:00. Glow walk at 7:00pm.

Join the BRES PTA Thursday, September 8th, at Crumbl located in Central Park. They are hosting a spirit night fundraiser from 3-6pm.
BRES is hosting two open house sessions on August 8th, 9:00-11:30am and 4:00-6:30pm. Please attend the one that meets your schedule best. Visit our PTA table to learn about volunteer opportunities and school events, drop off your child's school supplies, and meet your child's teacher.
Kindergarten Kickoff - Brock Road will host two Kindergarten Kickoff sessions over the summer. We invite incoming kindergartners to attend one of the 2-day sessions.
