December 11th and 12th came filled with the joy and spirit of the holiday season at JJW. Over the two days, two very special groups donated time and goods to the students and families of our school. On Thursday, the 11th, the Greater Rappahannock Area Links Chapters donated Literacy Book Boxes, Books, and school supplies to John J. Wright, totaling over $ 800 in goods. On Friday, the 12th, Mrs. Renee Beverly of the John J. Wright Museum partnered with Thrive Food Bank to provide 5 complete holiday turkey dinners to 5 JJW families.
These acts of kindness and generosity truly embody not only the spirit of the season but also the spirit of the programs housed in John J. Wright. These acts of kindness will have a positive and lasting effect on the school community and local families.
