From March 3rd through March 14th, WES will be collecting boxes and bags of cereal for the SCPS Treasure House, which supports our homeless students and their families. Treasure House is a pantry that supplies food and household goods to students and their families who are experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, or are financially vulnerable. Treasure House receives no outside funding and is completely supported by our local community. The school social work team is currently collecting various items to help stock the shelves at Treasure House to continue to support our families. The school social work team is asking for your support to help support our students and families meet their basic needs.
We are having a friendly competition with Smith Station Elementary School to see which school collects the most cereal! Thanks to everyone for sharing that Wildcat spirit!
