SCA AND THE HOPE HOUSE FUNDRAISER
Want to earn a field day for your entire class??? SCA has kicked off a fundraiser to raise money for Hope House and a chance for you to win a field day! Each class will be competing to see who raises the most money and are the most active Spotsy Knights! Be sure to check your email for ways to participate and earn points. Whichever class earns the most points will be earning a fantastic Field Day on April 17, so Spotsy Show off your school spirit and let’s raise Hope for Humanity!
Happy Hope House week! Today’s the day you can start earning points. After school today you have an opportunity to earn points for your class to earn a field day. There will be a Boy Tennis Match @4:00 and a Girl’s Soccer game @5:30 Again one dollar donation = one point. Let’s go Spotsy!
After School: Listen up Spotsy students. There is another opportunity to earn points. Tomorrow there will be a softball game after school @6:00. Each person from your grade that shows up will earn 2 points for your class. Also, be sure to look for musical chairs at lunch! Let’s show that Spotsy spirit to support our school teams. Let’s go Knights!
PROM GUEST FORMS
Prom time is quickly approaching. Students you must be in good standing and debt free to attend! Debt free slips will be available starting April 16th from admin during lunches. Prom tickets will go on sale for seniors only on April 22nd. Tickets for juniors and seniors will be available April 23rd - 30th. If you are bringing a non SHS student as your guest, Guest forms are available in the main office and must be returned by April 29th.
SPECIAL RECOGNITION
Members of the outdoor track team competed in their first big invitational of the season with over 50 teams from VA, MD, DC, and NC participating. There were lots of great moments and new personal records. Coaches would like to highlight Alison Nelson who set the school record and ran state qualifying times in the mile and two mile!
SHREK: THE MUSICAL
Come see what's going on in my swamp! Shrek: The Musical is performing this Friday (4/11) and Saturday (4/12) at 7pm followed by a Matinee performance at noon on Sunday (4/13). SOL Testing Season is here! Take a deep breath, stay confident, and give it your best! Success starts with believing in yourself!
SOAK A SENIOR
The Senior Board will be Hosting SOAK A SENIOR soon! We need you to nominate the seniors you wanted to be SOAKEDDD!!. A google form will be sent out to everyone to nominate any Senior. (You can nominate for yourself if you're a Senior) April 14th-18th the Student Body will vote on who to soak. Everyone will receive one free vote. You will also be able to purchase an additional vote for 50 cents so bring your quarters in after Spring Break.

Attention Parents: Yearbooks are currently on sale for $60. This is the lowest cost they will be so order early to save money. Yearbooks can be purchased online at www.yearbookordercenter.com school code is 4009. We have sold out the last three years so order early to ensure your student gets one!
