CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS
Debate
Debate will meet Thursday, December 19th during focus. If you would still like to join the debate team email Ms. Jaca to be pulled.
Perphiery Magazine
Craving something sweet? Periphery Magazine is hosting a bake sale tomorrow during Focus! They'll be bringing a cart full of delicious, homemade treats right to your classroom. From cookies to muffins, there's something for everyone!
Please note that we can only accept cash. Don't miss this chance to satisfy your sweet tooth!
PROM COMMITTEE
There will be a Prom Committee meeting next week on December 17th during focus. Please email or visit Mrs. Tydings in room 145 if you would like to join and help plan the next event of the year!
SPECIAL RECOGNITION
The Indoor Track & Field team competed in their first season invitational over the weekend in Hampton, VA. With over 30 teams from Virginia our athletes held their own and left with many new personal records and a few medals. We congratulate Anna Wiederhold for placing 3rd in the 500m dash, Allison Nelson for placing 1st in both the 1000m and 1600m run, and Jayden Wallace for placing 1st in the 3200m run. The team will travel to King George this week to compete in their second regular season meet. Wish them luck!
ACADEMICS & EXAMS
ASVAB
Those who are taking the ASVAB test today we wish you the best of luck!
The ASVAB test will also be given on JAN 7, please sign up with Mrs. Buzzell to be registered for the test.
COLLEGE VISITS
Are you interested in finding out about colleges? Well-- counseling has colleges coming in for information visits. Stop by the college board outside counseling and see who is coming. It is updated often so check weekly. You need to email or stop by to sign up with Mrs. Buzzell to reserve your spot.
ANGEL TREE GIVING
Angel Tree Gift Giving Has Begun!
The holiday season is here, and our Angel Tree Program has begun, and is running through December 18th. This is your chance to spread joy and make a difference for families in need.
Stop by the office to grab your Angel card and help fulfill a wish this holiday season if you can. When you bring your gift, be sure to include the Angel card with the information on it, and drop everything off at the School Social Work Office by December 18th.
