FRIDAY (11/22/24)

Happy Friday, Knights — Break is Almost Here!

It’s the last school day before Thanksgiving break, so let’s finish strong and head into the holiday with pride! Take a moment to reflect on all you’ve accomplished this season and look forward to some well-deserved rest, family time, and gratitude.

Stay safe, enjoy the break, and come back recharged. Have an amazing Thanksgiving, Knights!

Below are the most important announcements from today!

ATTENDANCE CLASS COMPETITION

To support our Attendance Goals, we are rewarding the class with the lowest Chronic Absenteeism rate through the end of October. The 9th- and 11th-grade classes were in a close race, and the 9th grade edged out for the win. As a celebration, the 9th grade will have a donut party during FOCUS on Friday, November 22.

ACADEMICS & EXAMS

ASVAB

Those who are taking the ASVAB test today we wish you the best of luck!

The ASVAB test will also be given on JAN 7, please sign up with Mrs. Buzzell to be registered for the test.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION

CONGRATULATIONS to Allison Nelson and Jaden Wallace for finishing higher than any other Spoty athlete since 2000 at the state cross country meet this weekend.   Allison improved 2 minutes over her time from last year and just missed being in the top for allstate honors. Jayden ran a very good race and improved his seeded placement by 25 spots.  Thanks to the runners that came to support their teammates too!

Coach Sayers, Larocco, and Pirch are extremely proud of all the athletes on the cross country team this season.
