AP EXAM
Are you planning to take an AP exam this spring? Sign up now! The deadline to register is Monday, October 28th. Please pick up an AP exam order form in the counseling center for further instructions.
ASVAB
ASVAB WILL BE GIVEN ON NOV 22 and JAN 7 please sign up with Mrs. Buzzell to be registered for the test.
COLLEGE & CAREER READINESS
College Visits
Are you interested in finding out about colleges? Well-- counseling has colleges coming in for information visits. Stop by the college board outside counseling and see who is coming. It is updated often so check weekly. You need to email or stop by Counseling to sign up with Mrs. Buzzell to reserve your spot.

COMMUNITY & SERVICE
Thanksgiving Food Drive
The IB juniors and NHS are excited to announce our Thanksgiving Food Drive! This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as a community and help those in need.
Starting October 1st, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items to support the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, along with a virtual food drive, where you can donate money towards Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank. QR codes can be found on posters around the school. Our goal is to gather enough food to ensure that everyone can enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal.
To make this drive even more exciting, we’ll be providing a prize for the top two classrooms to donate the most, so stay tuned for more details!

Attention Juniors and Seniors Only!!
SCA is tentatively holding a Powderpuff game on November 7th at 7 pm. If you are interested in participating as a flag football player or cheerleader you will need to fill out a form that will be sent to your email this weekend!
SPECIAL RECOGNITION
Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams for another GREAT performance by finishing 12th and 9th respectively at the VA ShowCase Cross Country Meet. The girls were led by Allison Nelson who finished 15th in her race with strong performances from all other girls. The boys were lead by Jerry Miller-Jackson with his new PR that moves him up to #7 on the all time known list at Spotsy! Jackson Valasko and Xander Bruere also had big PRs helping the team to hold the best team average since 2016. Brenden Majean and Geronimo Corral also had PRs for the second race in a row. The teams will compete in the final meet of the regular season on Wednesday at King George.
Shout out to the Knight Battalion JROTC Raider Team that competed this past Saturday in the MCJROTC State Championship of Virginia against 26 other programs from all over the state. The Male Team placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in all four categories which resulted in a 2nd Place Overall Finish. Tryston Josemen finished in 2nd Place for the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test.
