SHS STUDENTS STILL LOOKING FOR CLASSES FOR NEXT YEAR:
Are you interested in working with youth and leading them to their full potential?
If so, you may be the perfect candidate for the Introduction to Teachers for Tomorrow Program. This course will introduce potential future educators to the many realms that you can pursue in education like an interest in working with children in any capacity, or those that have expressed an interest in teaching, coaching, being a librarian, administrator, psychologist, counselor, paraprofessional or any other school-based career.
The instructor and current students have created a short (2:30 min) video to share with students that showcases what this program is about. If you have a few moments, watch the video to see what the classes are all about. The upper-level courses are Dual-Enrollment classes which means you could earn college credit upon completion. We are looking to fill this course for the 2024-25 school year, and because it is still so new, many students don't know what it is all about.

Mrs. Becky Larkin, the instructor for TFT, will also be here at SHS on February 29th in Ms. Coletti's room for Focus if anyone is interested in meeting the instructor and asking questions in person.
