It has been a fantastic week at Spotsylvania Elementary, and we have a major reason to celebrate: our chronic absenteeism numbers dropped this past week! Thank you for your incredible effort in getting our students to class.
We are working hard toward our school-wide goal of 10% chronic absenteeism or less. When students are here, they build stronger friendships, gain confidence, and stay on track with their learning.
A Few Helpful Reminders:
Doctor’s Notes: If your child does have to miss school for a medical appointment, please remember to send a doctor’s note to the front office.
Healthy & Present: While we want everyone to stay safe, if your child is feeling "under the weather" but is not contagious (no fever or vomiting), we encourage you to send them to school. Sometimes a day of learning is just the boost they need!
