Congratulations to all the parents and students for achieving a chronic absenteeism rate of 15.71%! While it's slightly above the ambitious goal of 15%, it shows incredible effort and dedication from everyone in our school community. You are so close to hitting that target! Let's work together to push that number even lower. Every day in school counts towards a student's success! Let's keep this momentum going!
Quick Tips for Being Present at School
Getting out the door on time and making sure kids are ready to learn can sometimes be a challenge. Here are a few simple tips to help ensure students are present and on time every day:
Establish a Bedtime Routine: Consistency is key! Make sure students are getting enough sleep so they wake up refreshed and ready for the day. A predictable, early bedtime routine helps this immensely.

The Night-Before Prep: Get backpacks, lunchboxes, and clothes ready the evening before. This eliminates morning scrambling and stress, making the mornings smoother and faster.

Create a Morning Ritual: Try to keep the morning routine the same every day, even if it's just a simple routine of eat, brush, and go. A consistent flow helps everyone stay on schedule.

Communicate Early and Often: If your student needs to be absent, call the school as soon as you know. The school office can provide support and ensure your child gets any missed assignments.

Make it Fun! Talk about what they're learning and who they get to play with. Highlighting the fun and learning they'll miss can be a great motivator to attend!

Your commitment to attendance truly makes a difference in your child's education. Let's make it a goal to see that 15% (or even lower!) at our next check-in!
