Introducing Rooms - A new communication feature on the Spotsylvania County Schools Mobile App
We are excited to launch ROOMS, a new parent-teacher chat and classroom announcements feature in the Spotsylvania County Schools app. Earlier this year we shared we would be adding this tool to the current Spotsylvania County Schools App. With the Rooms App makes it easy to stay up-to-date with the district, schools, AND with your student’s teachers and classes. Parents and guardians should have received instructions via email and/or text from EDURoom to create their login to access Rooms within the district app. A reminder invite will also be shared on Friday, January 18, 2025.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Friday, January 10, 2025, will be a Teacher Work Day for Spotsylvania County Public County Schools. No students report to school. All student after school activities have been cancelled.
Due to icy road conditions in rural areas and many neighborhoods, all Spotsylvania County Public Schools are closed on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Code 2 - 12-month employees report two-hours late as safety permits. Essential personnel will report at specified times. All school sponsored activities including student externships are cancelled. The Division Spelling Bee has been moved to January 18, 2025.

What to expect on picture day
When an order is placed online, the parent/guardian will receive a camera pass via email. This can either be printed or texted to the student and brought to picture day. The photographer will photograph the printed camera pass along with the student.
If a student is not able to print their camera pass, that is not a problem. We will match up the student to their order manually in the production process.
A parent may order from the flyer up until 24 hours after picture day. After 24 hours, the online ordering access may close. This will allow our imaging team to "Pull" all orders submitted and match them with the students photographed.
When pictures are returned to school, all students that purchased pictures will receive their prepaid package. Any student that was photographed but did not order a package, will receive a "Proof" (PX) of their picture that was taken on picture day.
All proof packages offer parents a second opportunity to order prints. All orders are subject to shipping and handling costs of up to $8.50 and will be shipped directly to home.
