High school students can drop a semester course without penalty during the first 7 weeks of a course. They can drop a full-year course without penalty during the first 14 weeks of a course. After this time, a WP (withdraw passing) or WF (withdraw failing) is placed on the transcript (barring a special exception by the principal). We have passed the deadline to drop a semester course without penalty. This information can be found on page 48 of the Course Pathways Guide. The deadline to drop a full-credit course without penalty is November 18th.
