December Teachers of the Month

Ms. Denise Glassford, Mr. David Siegelman, and Mr. Christopher Farrell are the December Teachers of the month. Collectively they assisted with helping have the best success with Math SOL retakes that our school has ever had in a December testing cycle. Ms. Glassford is the math department chair, SCA co-sponsor, and has been teaching at MHS for 17 years. Mr. Siegelman teaches in the math department, has coached various sports, and has been at MHS for 15 years. Mr. Farrell is a part of the special education department, has coached various sports, and teaches collaboratively in math classes. He has been teaching at MHS for 26 years. As a team they worked very hard preparing and remediating around 130 students that needed a verified math SOL credit which is required for graduation. Thanks to their efforts nearly all of those students now have their math requirement taken care of and are now one step closer to graduation.
