SPRING IS HERE AND FULL OF CELEBRATIONS IN APRIL-
We hope everyone had a great spring break! We are excited to kick off the month of April with lots of celebrations including Month of the Military Child, Child Abuse Prevention Month, Autism Awareness Month, Occupational Therapy Month, and Library Month. Be sure to show your appreciation to our school occupational therapist, Danielle Galvin, and our school library media specialist, Mr. Kerns! We also want to celebrate our Para educators for Para Day on April 1st. We appreciate all that they do to support our lions!
FIELD DAY IS COMING UP ON APRIL 17TH-
Dear Students and Parents,
Field Day will be Friday, April 17, 2026. K-2 will have Field Day from 9:15-11:05, with grades 3-5 from 1:00-2:45. All Field Day activities promote fun! Spread the fun by cheering on your classmates. To be prepared for the day, please:
· Dress appropriately for running and playing. No flip flops or sandals. No white t-shirts. Depending on the temperature, water games are planned. Please be prepared to get wet. You may bring a change of clothes for afterward.
· Apply sunscreen BEFORE school.
· Bring a water bottle labeled with your name. Students are responsible for carrying their water bottle from station to station.

April 21st- School is closed for students due to the Special Election. This is a teacher workday.
April 22nd- Administrative Professionals Appreciation Day. Thank you Ms. Williams, Mrs. Miller, and Ms. Cera!
April 24th- Field Day Rain Date/Make Up Date.
April 28th- Bus Driver Appreciation Day. Thank you to our bus drivers!

LA PRIMAVERA YA ESTÁ AQUÍ Y ABRIL LLENA DE CELEBRACIONES.
¡Esperamos que todos hayan tenido unas excelentes vacaciones de primavera! Estamos emocionados de comenzar el mes de abril con muchas celebraciones, incluyendo el Mes del Niño Militar, el Mes de la Prevención del Abuso Infantil, el Mes de la Concientización sobre el Autismo, el Mes de la Terapia Ocupacional y el Mes de la Biblioteca. ¡No olviden mostrar su agradecimiento a nuestra terapeuta ocupacional escolar, Danielle Galvin, y a nuestro especialista en medios de la biblioteca escolar, el Sr. Kerns! También queremos celebrar a nuestros asistentes educativos en el Día del Asistente Educativo el 1 de abril. ¡Agradecemos todo lo que hacen para apoyar a nuestros leones!
EL DÍA DE CAMPO SE CELEBRARÁ EL 17 DE ABRIL.
Estimados alumnos y padres:
El Día de Campo será el viernes 17 de abril de 2026. Los alumnos de kínder a segundo grado tendrán el Día de Campo de 9:15 a 11:05, y los de tercero a quinto grado de 1:00 a 2:45. ¡Todas las actividades del Día de Campo promueven la diversión! Comparte la diversión animando a tus compañeros. Para estar preparado para el día, por favor:
· Vístete adecuadamente para correr y jugar.No se permiten chanclas ni sandalias..No se permiten camisetas blancas.Dependiendo de la temperatura, se han programado juegos acuáticos. Prepárense para mojarse. Pueden traer ropa de recambio para después.
· Aplícate protector solar ANTES de ir a la escuela.
· Trae una botella de agua etiquetada con tu nombre.Los estudiantes son responsables de llevar su botella de agua de una estación a otra.
