SCPS Career and Technical Education Advisory Committee
Mission: To support the preparation of our CTE students for their futures as productive members of society
and to educate the community on the importance of Career and Technical Education in the development and
preparation of students to become successful contributing members of society.
Vision: To help inspire and empower our CTE teachers and students to become creative thinkers, problem
solvers and effective communicators by:
Ensuring an engaging and supportive learning environment
Providing a broad spectrum of innovative opportunities
Building lasting partnerships with the community to educate our students
Educating the community on the value and contribution career and technically trained persons
play in our society.
Purpose: To bring businesses and CTE instructors together to form collaborative partnerships

Time allotted: 6:30pm to 8:00pm
