Kaitlyn Anthes (‘25) won the Congressional Art Competition for 2025, awarded on May 8, 2025! Her artwork will hang in the United States Capitol for one year! Judging was held in the Dupont Gallery at the University of Mary Washington. Kaitlyn is currently enrolled in AP Art with Ms. Howell. Your Courtland family is beyond proud of you!

It is with great pleasure to announce that Kaitlyn Anthes has won the Congressional Art Competition for 2025. The judging took place on May 8th at Dupont Gallery at the University of Mary Washington. This now means that Kaitlyn’s art piece, To Light and Guard, will hang for one year at the United States Capitol. Kaitlyn Anthes is a senior at Courtland High School who is currently enrolled in AP Art in Ms. Howell’s class. Congratulations Kaitlyn!
