This year we will be holding a CAREER DAY for all of our 3rd-5th graders Friday, March 8th !! It is a day when we will have an opportunity to learn more about the World of Work directly from adults with experience in a variety of careers. We hope that family and friends will offer toparticipate in this day by talking to our students about their work.
Career Day will be divided into three sections for grades 3-5:
9:05-10:35–presentations for fifth grade students
9:10-9:40- presentations for fourth grade students
9:10-9:40- presentations for third grade students
Each presenter will be assigned a “station” in a classroom and will be visited by classes of 20-26 students, along with their teachers. If you are presenting, you will be in a classroom within the grade level of your choice and will be doing a 15 minute presentation
for 4-5 different classes. Children enjoy and learn so much as presenters explain their career and show “tools of the trade” to the students.
