Congratulations to our boys basketball team with a big win over SMS in the first round of the playoffs. Next game will be at Freedom on Monday. Sorry no pictures, the game was so exciting we forgot to take any.

Congratulations to our wrestling team who wrapped up the regular season with a win tonight over Spotsylvania Middle School. Our basketball team lost a hard fought battle against Spotsylvania Middle School. Both teams had a great season.
Congratulations to Ms. Amber Maddox, one of our Science 8 teachers, for being named as our New Teacher of the Year. Also, her mentor Mrs. Amy Watkins was named as our Mentor Teacher of the Year. We are so lucky to have them both at BMS!
The 7th and 8th-grade orchestra warriors traveled to Mountain View High School today to participate in the VBODA State Assessment and earned the 2nd highest rating of "Excellent".
