I am thrilled to join the Lion Nation at Lee Hill Elementary School. Building a strong community of learners is my passion as an educator and school leader. As your assistant principal, I prioritize serving our children and school community with energy, enthusiasm, and excellence. I am honored and blessed to be a part of such a dedicated faculty and staff.

My journey in education began 23 years ago after graduating from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2004, I earned my National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist from the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards. I attended the University of Mary Washington for graduate school, earning my Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Supervision.

I taught third grade in Henrico County for ten years before transferring to Spotsylvania County Schools in 2009. Over the past twelve years, I have served Spotsylvania County Schools in various capacities as a third-grade teacher, summer school administrator at Cedar Forest Elementary, and Interim Administrative Intern at Livingston Elementary.

Time with family and friends is a special gift that I cherish daily. My husband, Mike, and I have two wonderful children, Preston (9th grade) and Madison (8th grade). We enjoy football, swimming, and playing with our dog. When I’m not at school, I love reading, traveling to the beach, and meeting new people.

I believe that everyone has a purpose and a story to share with others. I look forward to learning the many stories of our students, staff, and community as we celebrate our Paw Pride together!
