I am excited to begin my third year with the Battlefield MS family.  This is my 14th year as a school counselor and I love what I get to do each day.  It is my belief that with positive connections and relationships, every child can be successful.  As a School Counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students.  I look forward to offering support to the students, families, and staff.  I work with students in a variety of settings that include individual counseling, small groups, and classroom lessons.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or to discuss any concerns you may have about your child

Hello Warriors! I am excited to join the BMS family this year! This is my 17th year in education and my 3rd year in Spotsylvania County. In my role as a school counselor, I look forward to helping students in ways that will contribute to their overall well-being. This will include promoting positive development in academic, career, and personal/social domains through individual counseling, small and large group counseling, and consultation and collaboration with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and the school social worker.  Please do not hesitate to contact me for information and resources, as well as any questions or concerns you may have.  I am looking forward to a fabulous year!

I'm excited to be joining Battlefield Middle this year. This is my 14th year as a school counselor. I have experience as a school counselor in both middle and high school settings. I'm originally from Michigan and earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Central Michigan University. I also coach swimming in the summers and enjoy knitting scarves for the non-profit, Miles of Scarves, which raises money to benefit causes related to Multiple Sclerosis. I enjoy spending my free time crafting, kayaking, and playing with my goofy beagle.
