Coby Flanagan works to positively impact future generations, but he also benefits from the positive impacts of the many people and organizations that he encounters through community service. Amongst the numerous academic awards Coby has received, he is most proud of being the recipient of an Academic Excellence Award during his Junior year. Coby has completed Theatre Arts I-III and as of this year, he has transitioned to working behind the scenes, Technical Theatre. He has a love of History and would like to capture today’s events, which is tomorrow’s history, through documentaries. Coby Flanagan will attend VCU, Fall-2019, in hopes of being one of the 1,100 undergraduate students within The Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture. Coby will be working towards a Mass Communications, Bachelor of Science with a concentration in journalism (digital and broadcast).
