  • NJHS News:
    • The NJHS SOCK DRIVE has collected 93 pairs of socks so far.  Our homeroom leaders are:
      • 1st place-Kennedy
      • 2nd place-Eastman
      • 3rd place-Randall
    • Please don't forget your money next week to buy a Valentine Candy Gram (or 6!) in the front foyer every morning until 8 am.
  • PTA News:
    • Please help support the Valentine’s Day Dance on February 13th from 3pm5pm by volunteering or by making a donation. Please use the SignUpGenius Link to help.
    • Please save the date Ni River PTA is holding a Yard Sale on April 13.  We are looking for donations.  After the yard sale, we will have your stuff hauled away.  Proceeds will go to the PTA.
    • The Ni River PTA is holding their second Box Top Challenge of the 2018-2019 school year. In order to be counted all box top must Not be expired and must be in the PTA hands by February 20, 2019.  In order to submit box tops, you can place them in the box inside the school’s front doors, give them to the office or place them in the PTA box. First place will receive donuts for their entire class. Second place will receive individual candy bags for their class.
    • Would you like to be more involved with the school?  Consider joining the NRMS PTA Executive Committee for the 2019-2020 school year to play a larger role!  The PTA Executive Committee meets once a month from August to May and executes programs to help raise money and plan events for the school. The PTA organizes events for the teachers such as lunches, dinners and teacher appreciation events.  No experience is required!  The nomination committee is looking for people to fill the positions of President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.  Please email Dina Lotito rjlotito@yahoo.comor Jennifer Miller if you would like any additional information or to express your interest.  Nominations are due by March 15, 2019. 
  • 8th Grade Information:
    • Wednesday, February 6th -- Spotsylvania Career and Technical Center (SCTC) Open House will be held from 5pm - 7pm.  This is a great opportunity for students to plan what electives they may want to enroll in during high school. 
    • Thursday, February 7th -- JROTC Rising Freshman Information Night; 6pm - 7pm held at Riverbend High School Auditorium. This presentation includes information on curriculum and student expectations.
