Interscholastic Sports Concussion Education & Resources
Concussion Education Trainings and Resources have been updated for the 2020-2021 school year.
In accordance to Virginia Code 22.1-271.5, all parents and students involved with interscholastic sports are required to become educated on sports concussions.
Students may not participate in interscholastic sports until both the parent and student complete concussion education training.
After completing the SCPS Health, Safety, and Concussion Education training an Awareness and Acknowledgement form will be available to print if an email was provided.
Completed trainings are also electronically documented at the school and are available from the Athletic Department.
All paperwork regarding concussion education will be kept with the student's VHSL phsycal form.
From the link library below, please choose the school your child will be attending during the 2020-2021 school year to take the Health, Safety, and Concussion Education Training. Each school documents their own athlete's and trainings.
