The flu season is upon us. Influenza A, and B have been positively confirmed in our health district. The cases are steadily increasing. Handwashing with soap and warm water is the first step preventing the spread of the virus. Please keep children home who are coughing, sneezing, and running a fever at home, and have them see a health care provider.

Attention Parents: Effective July 1, 2014, a booster dose of Tdap vaccine is required for all children entering the 6th grade. Diphtheria, Tetanus, & Pertussis (DTaP, DTP, or Tdap) - A minimum of 4 doses. A child must have at least one dose of DTaP or DTP vaccine on or after the fourth birthday.
