    Any student trying out for sport must have these three items before they will be allowed to participate:
     
    1.  VHSL Sports Physical - dated on or after May 1, 2018 - link below
     
    2.  Complete Online Concussion Education- link below
     
    3.  "Blue Card" 
     
     * Sports physical & concussion education must on file with the Athletic Trainer before you can receive a Blue Card.

Academic Requirements for Athletes

  • VHSL Scholarship Rule -  The student shall:  
    (a) For the first semester be currently enrolled in not fewer than five subjects, or their equivalent, offered for credit and which may be used for graduation; and have passed five subjects, or their equivalent, offered for credit and which may be used for graduation the immediately preceding year or the immediately preceding semester for schools that certify credit on a semester basis.  This is determined at the conclusion of the preceding school year.
     
    (b) For the second semester be currently enrolled in not fewer than five subjects, or their equivalent, offered for credit and which may be used for graduation; and have passed five subjects, or their equivalent, offered for credit and which may be used for graduation the immediately preceding semester.  This is determined the first calendar day of the second semester.
      
    Spotsylvania County Public Schools - Scholarship Policy -  The student shall:
    For each nine weeks grading period: pass at least five classes, two of which must be with a "C" average or better.   This is determined the calendar day report cards are issued.

    • Family Plan - $200.00 - Up to four family members living in same household & Can be used for all regular season home games
    • Individual Plan -  $75.00 - Can be used for all regular season home games
    • 10 game Pass  -  $50.00 - Can be used for 10 regular season home games
    • Order forms & payment should be mailed or delivered to the Courtland HS Main Office - Attn: Ronnie Lowman
    • Passes will not be sold at games.
