    New Announcements
    The next PTSO meeting is Monday, December 16th, at 6:30pm in the school library.   We hope you will plan to join us.

    Basketball season is in full swing with multiple games every week.  The PTSO opens the concession stand for each home game.  The funds generated from concession sales go directly back to the school and our students.  Please consider volunteering to help - each shift is only about an hour and a half!  Your teen can also get volunteer hours working concessions and we'd love to have them!   If you or your teen would like to help with upcoming games, please contact Becki Rinker, sixrinkers@gmail.com

    Massaponax Open Winter Tennis Meeting: To all students (Girls and Boys) interested in trying out for tennis in the Spring of 2020! There will be a meeting in one of the P.E. classrooms after school today, Thursday Dec 12 at 2:30. The meeting should not take more than 45 minutes, so please have a ride by 3:30 Information on Winter Tennis at the Butler YMCA and other information will be discussed. If you cannot attend, please ask a friend to pick up information or leave your information with Mrs. Corneal in Guidance. Thank you, Coach Shinberger and Bingham.

    Attention Sophomores!  Your class jewelry is in and ready for delivery. The Jostens representative will be here on TODAY, December 12th during pride time to deliver your items. Please plan to arrive to the Auditorium promptly to receive your class jewelry and enjoy refreshments that will be provided by your Jostens representative.  REMINDER: Jewelry must be paid in full prior to delivery. BE ADVISED: Personal checks are not accepted at delivery. Exact change cash or money order will be accepted as the ONLY form of payment if necessary on delivery day in school.

    Senior Announcements
    Senior T-Shirts are in! Please stop by room 205, during any lunch shift or Pride Time, to pick up your t-shirt. You may ONLY pick up YOUR t-shirt. DO NOT come any other time during the day as I will be reviewing for midterm exams. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Clements

    Seniors, if you have not ordered your cap and gown, Jostens will be at Massaponax High on Thursday, December 12 during all three lunch shifts. The price of the cap and gown package is $37.85. Please consider ordering before the holiday break. The senior panoramic photo will be scheduled in March, after delivery of cap and gown orders. You have to have your cap and gown in order to be in the photo. Guarantee your spot in the photo and order Thursday!

    Monday is ugly sweater competition day, make sure to rock your ugliest sweater. There are 3 categories to win the competition for the school - school spirit, best homemade, and most festive. Monday you will be asked at lunch to vote on teachers as well so encourage your teachers to participate!

    Attention Boys Soccer players- due to the weather forecast, there will be NO boys open soccer after school this Friday. Enjoy the winter break, and be ready to start pre-season conditioning in January.

    The Giving Tree is all ready for decorations! Please bring new hats, gloves, and scarves to the Library and hang on the tree. Everything will be donated to The Treasurer House. Let's cover the tree in love and Spread Good Cheer

    Join us in celebrating the end of the semester with a spirit week next week! Monday is Ugly Sweater Day, Tuesday is Long Winter's Nap - Wear your Holiday PJs!, Wednesday is Winter Whiteout, Thursday is Holiday Head to toe - wear festive holiday hats and socks, and Friday is Flannel Friday.

    MHS Theatre invites you to attend the Faculty/Student Production of A Christmas Carol on Thursday and Friday @ 7 p.m. Admission is $5

    Exams stressing you out? Sign up to come to the library during Pride Time on Friday, Dec 13 to make your own stress balls.

    Io (ee-oh) Saturnalia! Come join Latin club this Friday, December 13th for food, games, and music by Massaponax' own ill 3 in honor of the Roman winter festival of Saturnalia. Please see Mr. Yates in 231 for details.
