  • Important Reminders for a healthy school year:

     Breakfast is available at school each morning. A good day for learning begins with a good breakfast.

    In accordance with Spotsylvania School Board policy, no medication may be dispensed without a completed medication request form from your child’s doctor. This includes over-the-counter medications such as cough drops, Tylenol, cough syrup,cold medication etc. All medications must be brought to the school by an adult,unopened and in their original container.

    PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY MEDICATION WITH YOUR CHILD.

    Please provide doctor’s notes for casts, crutches, slings, etc. Please keep your child home for illness that presents with a fever, vomiting or diarrhea for a full 24 hours after symptoms improve. Your child must be fever free for 24 hours after using a fever reducing medication before returning to school.

    Remember our students with food allergies! All foods for classroom celebrations must be labeled, store bought and brought to the front office prior to being passed out to any students. No home prepared foods.  No Peanuts. Avoid foods marked “manufactured in a facility that also processes peanuts.”
