Summer Enrichment Information

Get ready for a totally new summer enrichment opportunity! Tune in to Spotsylvania's Educational Television (ETV) channel (Comcast Channel 17, Cox Channel 18, or Verizon Channel 36) to watch weekly enrichment classes on a variety of topics for grades K-8. Topics will include Coding Dojo, Imagineering, Knitting, Creative Cooking, Japanese, and the 5 C's Challenge are just a few of the course offerings! These weekly modules will be broadcast daily, Monday through Friday, from June 8 through July 30. The elementary enrichment broadcast will run at 10:00 AM and the middle school module broadcast will start at 1:00 PM each weekday.
Module #1 "5 C’s to Rule the World" (June 8-12): Learn more about the 5 C’s! Critical thinking, communication, collaboration, citizenship, and creativity will be our focus as we visit several Spotsylvania families and friends to discover and apply the 5 C’s at home, at school, and everywhere! This interactive kick-off module is designed for elementary and middle school students and families.
Suggested Supplies: Google Site materials include a learning menu complete with the 5 C’s Challenge and Game Board, an I Spy the 5 C’s game, Chat Starters, and the 5 C’s Charades.
