  • Today is Dec 12 an A day. Today for lunch is chicken tenders


    Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets this Friday from 3pm to 4pm.  Be sure you have a permission slip and ride by 4pm.  
    If you are planning on staying for the dance you will still need to purchase a dance ticket.

    We are excited to share that the POMS Color Guard Club is returning this school year!  The Color Guard Club will focus on dance skills and flag work.  The club will be lead by Coach Thomas and members of the SHS Indoor Guard.  Permission forms are available in the main office.

    NJHS will have a meeting and holiday party on Tuesday Dec 17th from 3 -4. Check google classroom for details.

    Attention Students interested in trying out for boys basketball and wrestling in January.  A basketball and a wrestling clinic will be held on December 14th here at POMS.  Pick up a flyer by Ms. French’s office.

    Attention Students - Boys Basketball and wrestling tryouts will be held when we get back from winter break, on January 6, 7, 8, and 9.  You must have a VHSL physical form and education training complete for tryouts.  Please see Ms. French with questions.

    Ticket sales for the Blitzen ball will be extended through tomorrow morning. The cost is $5 and you must have a note at the time of purchase. If you get ISS, OSS, Afterschool suspension or bus suspension or VOICE between Dec 2 and Dec 13th you may not purchase a tickets

    The Gift of Reading and Writing Challenge is super easy. Just do 6 out of the 12 challenges and turn it in on Dec 17th for a prize.

    Enter the If My Teacher Were a Book contest before Dec 17th for a chance to win and count it as one of your challenges.


    If you are interested in checking out a bag of books to read over the holidays, see Mrs. Allen or Mrs. Graham to prep your holiday checkout.
