    Lady Patriots basketball team played a great game yesterday against Ni River Middle.  Rylee Perkins led the team with 14 points.  The score was 18-28.  The Patriots played a hard fought game.  Keep working hard ladies.

    There will be a membership meeting this afternoon,  from 3-4:30 pm in room 172.

    We are super excited to announce our first ever community outdoor movie night. Next Friday night, September 20th join us on the soccer fields with a blanket or lawn chair to watch a film under the stars on a big screen TV. This is a free event for the whole family. Doors open at 7:00, movie begins at 7:30. The movie is free and concessions will be available for purchase. All students must be with a parent or guardian to attend

    Drama Club will begin on Tuesday, September 24th. Please see Mr. Flenard or Ms. Jones in the Counseling office for a permission slip and more details!

    Attention all students! This year we are continuing to work on a grade level challenge for pride cards. The grade level challenge runs until May 21, 2020.  Each grade level will be racing to reach 1,000 pride cards each month. For the month of September, the grade level that reaches 1,000 pride cards first will receive recess in small groups. Earn your pride cards so your grade can be the winner.

    The first dance is Friday, Sept 27th from 3 - 5. Dance tickets will be sold during homeroom beginning on September 24th for $5.00.  An Open Gym will be held in conjunction with the dance for an additional cost of $3.00.  Students that receive ISS, OSS, Bus Suspension, Saturday School, or VOICE between September 16th and 27th will not be eligible to attend the dance.

    Come join the fun!  Post Oak will be hosting its first Color Run & Fun Fest on Thursday, October 3rd from 3 - 5 pm.
    Cost is $10 and will include a Color Run, color packets, carnival games, a JROTC sponsored Obstacle Course, face painting, onsite DJ and more!  Registration forms can be found in the front office, library and online.  See any SCA member for more information!

    Spotsylvania Middle School is hosting a volleyball clinic to prepare players for volleyball season.  The cost is $35, please see Ms. French for a registration form.

    Massaponax High School is also holding a volleyball clinic, the cost is $45, please see Ms. French for a registration form.  

     The Run/Walk Against Teen Violence will be held this Saturday, September 21, 2019.  Make sure you get registered this week and let's put POMS in first place for participants.

     Spotsylvania Parks and Recreation is having a Kids Galaxy Glow Run on October 5, 2019.  The cost is $15.  If interested, see Ms. French for an informational flyer.
