    IMPORTANT NOTICE - Due to the potential impact of the Tropical Storm on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, Spotsylvania County Public Schools will be closed to the public. 12-month employees are Code 1 as safety permits. Telework is in place for all teachers and staff. 

    IMPORTANT NOTICE - FALL 2020 Enrollment Verification for All Students: To facilitate the reopening of schools, we will be utilizing ParentVUE to collect the necessary information to finalize plans. Please go to parent.spotsylvania.k12.va.us and click on “I am a Parent” to access ParentVUE.  In ParentVUE, directions on how to verify your student’s information can be found in the District Announcement section.  If you have any trouble completing this enrollment verification, please contact your child’s school.

  • UPDATE:  Beginning May 4, 2020 preschool application submission will begin with modified procedures.  Please see corresponding instructions for details.

     

    Applications for the 2020-21 School Year Preschool Programs: 

    To protect the health and safety of families, applications will be accepted by email, fax, or U.S. Mail.  If necessary, applications may be placed in a drop box at the Center for Family and Preschool Services, 7409 Brock Road, Spotsylvania, 22553 on Mondays only between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

    Please click on the words "Modified Preschool Submission Instructions" for  for submission details.

    Children must be 4 years old by September 30, 2020 and families must meet income guidelines to be considered eligible for the program.  

    Selections are made from May through August or until the program is full. 

    Children selected will be contacted by a family service worker to complete enrollment.  Please ensure phone numbers and email information are included on your application and up-to-date to ensure we may reach you.  

    Children who are not selected for the program will be placed on a waiting list after the first day of school for vacancy considerations throughout the enrollment year.
