SUMMER INSTITUTE - We are excited to announce the 2021 summer school opportunities for our students and families. This year’s experiences include skill remediation in literacy and numeracy, credit recovery, infused social and emotional support, enrichment opportunities, special education services, and ESOL services for Level I and II students. SPRING BREAK FOOD DISTRIBUTION UPDATE - On Wednesday, March 10th, the FREE Meal Food Bags for ALL SCPS Students and Children 18 and Under will include 2 weeks worth of food. There will NOT be Food Pick-up during Spring Break Week (March 15-19). Weekly pick-ups will resume on Wednesday, March 24.
Food Pick-ups are on WEDNESDAYS from 8am-4pm drive-thru pickup at 13 elementary and middle schools sites and 8am-7pm at 4 high schools and Post Oak MS. Please use this link for additional information.

Athletics Update: Due to concerns regarding transportation, all middle school athletic contests will be held on Wednesdays during the spring season. Additional contests may be added should guidance change.

March 1-5 is Read Across America Week. This month we will celebrate reading and focus as a school on increasing our reading minutes. Students are encouraged to participate in the Healthy Readers Challenge and Wellness Fair.

We will host Virtual Rising 6th Grade Q & A Meets on March 3rd and March 10th. We are excited to meet our new Patriots! Please feel free to share this flyer with rising 6th grade families and friends.

This year's Race for Education will be held virtually April 16-18. This family-friendly 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk raises funds for Spotsylvania County Public Schools through the Spotsylvania Education Foundation. Participants and schools are eligible for prizes. Details and registration.
