Mission Statement

Freedom Middle School provides opportunities for a diverse population to become lifelong learners, effective communicators, and critical thinkers in an ever-changing society.

Welcome

If you miss school, you miss out!

Regular attendance at Freedom is the first step in becoming a successful student. Attendance and punctuality patterns are taught and encouraged, and are monitored closely. A parent or guardian should call the school at 548-1030 before 9:00 a.m. to inform the school of an absence. However, in order for absences to be excused a written note from a parent or guardian must be submitted within 5 (five) days of returning to school. Absences are excused by a school official due to illnesses, family emergencies, or doctor’s appointments. The note must include the student’s name, date of absence, reason for absence, and parent signature and date.
