On Wednesday, November 11, RE Lee invited our community veterans for breakfast and then honored them in a parade. Several veterans stayed after the parade and spoke to classes about their military experiences. From all our staff and students to all our veterans: Thank you for your service and sacrifices!
Congratulations to all our 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade students who participated in our grade level spelling bees! The following students will now compete in our school bee on Tuesday, December 1 at 6:00 PM: 5th Graders Cameron Gaillot, Mya Rivard, Daniel Southard, Zachary Gallimore and Jin Lee; 4th Graders Harley Conley, Allie Bruere, Anyia Barney and Kyl-El Tolson and 3rd Graders Izabella Castillo, Jaden Wickens, Ben Lambert, Patrick Depue, Karaline Castle-Bruce and Tyler Mosher.
These students were nominated by their teachers as "Students of the Week" for the week ending Fri., Nov. 19 (pictured from left to right): Sam Wenzler (3rd Gr); Wyatt Cox (2nd Gr); Kimoree Colbert (5th Gr); Derrek Foster (1st Gr); Austin Dampier (4th Gr) and Augie Jarrell (KG). To be nominated for "Student of the Week" a student must consistently demonstrate the "Three Rs": Respect, Responsibility and Readiness! Congratulations to our "Students of the Week" and thanks for being such great role models!
