Types of Partnerships
Three types of partnership opportunities exist for businesses and organizations who are welcome to participate at any or all levels.

School Partnerships
A school and business/organization establish a relationship that promotes the educational goals of the school and improves communication between the school and the community. Agreements are created cooperatively by the school and business/organization with one or more of the following goals in mind:
*Improving student achievement
*Enhancing teaching and learning environment
*Supporting staff morale
*Strengthening parent and community support of schools and students
*Improving community relations

Special Event/Program Partnerships
Community businesses are invited to support special events and programs that build and maintain staff morale and improve communication between the community and the school division.
Examples are: New Teacher Picnic
Friends of the Rally
Division newsletter sponsorship
Partners are recognized at the event/program level and division level.
Employee Partnership
Area businesses make goods or services available to employees of the school division at a reduced rate in return for complimentary advertising on the employee Intranet. Partners are recognized at the division level.
